“Why Pavilion & Lot 10?”
To be honest, I choose Pavilion and Lot 10 as my first destination of food hunting without any further thinking. When I think of food, I think of city; hence, Pavilion and Lot 10 are my first choice. I’ve always wanted to try out thee food in Bukit Bintang area as it has variety types of food from different countries. In addition, the night view of Bukit Bintang is interesting! You can see LED Billboard shining in the dark, cars on the road, people crossing the road and many more!! Without wasting anymore time, Let’s start our Food Hunting Journey at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur!

How to get to Bukit Bintang?
There are a few ways to get to Bukit Bintang from Seremban using either public transport or driving.
- KTM (Keretapi Tanah Melayu) Seremban → KTM KL Sentral → *MRT KL Sentral → MRL Bukit Bintang [ 1 hour 30 minutes, total fares: RM 11.20 ]
*interchange from KTM KL Sentral to MONORAIL KL Sentral at 2F of NU Sentral direct exit to MRL Station - KTM Seremban → KTM Kajang → *MRT Kajang → MRT Bukit Bintang
[ 55 minutes, total fares: RM 11.00 ]
*interchange from KTM Kajang to MRT Kajang - Take a Grab Car from Seremban to Bukit Bintang [About 1 hour, fares: RM 86.54*]

On my way to Bukit Bintang…
Taking public transport has it pros and cons. We’ve chosen to take KTM as our one-way transportation to Bukit Bintang. We love to take public transport as we get to view different sceneries and how the train system works. Even though getting here will be time-consuming, but we would recommend it for those who are not having a pack travel schedule!
1st Stop: Brunch at 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken
Our first stop to have brunch is at 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken, located at NU Sentral. TO reach NU Sentral, you will have to take an escalator after exiting KTM KL Sentral.
As 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken is a fast food restaurant, they perform self-service to the customers. We will have to order and pay at the counter before proceeding to have our meals.
There is a pickup counter where customers are required to collect their food when the table pager rings or vibrates.

Besides, they also provide the customers a wash basin and dustbin to throw away the waste after the meal.

We ordered a 12 Pcs Wings Combo which is the signature dish in 4 Fingers. We also get to choose the flavour of the wingettes and drummets such as Soy Garlic or Hot or Mixed.
Flavour choosing is not only for the crispy chicken, but also the FRIES! They have flavour such as Seaweed or Kimchi. So, fear not if you are indecisive on which flavour to choose for your meal.
12 Pcs Wings Combo (Mixed flavour) and 2 Fries (Seaweed and Kimchi flavour) with 2 own choice beverages.

We would highly recommend you to try out this! For the flavour choices, we would recommend both Mixed for the wingettes and drummets while Seaweed flavour for the fries.
Reached Bukit Bintang!!!
Finally we are here at Bukit Bintang! A walking distance of 600m (roughly 3 minutes) from Monorail Station Bukit Bintang will bring us to our destination, which is Pavilion Kuala Lumpur.
This is the entrance of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. You will see a outstanding water fountain decorated on special days such as Merdeka Day.

2nd Stop: KAKIGŌRI
After a long travelling duration under the hot day, let us have some shaved ice for the day! Nothing is better than having icy cold snacks during the hot day. Do you agree with it?

We had ordered a Watermelon with Rose Espuma & Red Fruits Kakigōri and each one slices of Matcha Roll Cake & Hojicha Roll Cake. We had visited this shop several times but we still love the shaved ice they served!

The taste of the Watermelon shaved ice is superb. The sweet fragrance of rose espuma whipped cream with strawberry and grapes sliced as toppings match perfectly!
Right after the toppings, here comes the watermelon shaved ice which tastes like how summer is, Refreshing and Chilling. We extremely suggest you to have yourself a Watermelon shaved ice under a hot day.
The roll cake too, is served excellently. The bitter taste of Uji Matcha with slightly sweet whipped cream makes the roll cake taste bitter and sweet at the same time! As for the Hojicha Roll Cake, we would say that the well roasted tea carries its own unique fragrance which would surprises your taste buds.
As for lunch, we had decided to walk out Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to Lot 10 shopping complex. Lot 10 is just a 350m walking distances (around 2 minutes) from Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, which is suitable for a walk before lunch.
3rd Stop: J’s Gate Dining –Torikin

J’s Gate Dining is a place where we had always wanted to go there for a meal as their concept of providing customers authentic Japanese cuisine where customers get to have their meal in a comfortable real Japanese culture. We were astonished by the design of the whole space and we were really looking forward to dine in for our lunch!
There is a map layout for the entire floor for J’s Gate Dining which helps us a lot!
After wandering around to choose which restaurant to have our lunch, we had finally come to an agreement to choose Torikin as lunch place.
Whoops! Look at this! The chef prepares the food in front of you so you will get to see your food is prepare before serving it to you. Interesting….

Torikin serves variety types of food. In fact, Torikin is actually popular for its skewers! They also served set meals and dessert too!
They also have special menu such as the picture shown on the left. So, check out your calendar to make sure you don’t miss the deal!
During the time waiting for our food to be served, the waitress brought us a wet towel. The wet towel (in Japanese, おしぼり, oshibori) offered is use to clean one’s hand before eating. For your information, oshibori has long been used in Japan.

After a long wait, our food is finally here!!! Looks so delicious just by the appearance. Wonder how it tastes like….

Wait! It’s not over yet! We still have our dessert ahead, their signature Matcha Tiramisu!

It is topped with bitterly taste matcha powder and loaded with lots of cream cheese and matcha sponge cake!
You will definitely feel happiness once you have taste it.
We are never full of tasting matcha dessert as they wouldn’t make you feel tired of their taste! So, again we went to hunt for more matcha dessert after lunch. There is always room for dessert, right?
4th Stop: J’s Gate Dining –Tsujiri
We are here at Tsujiri! Another café found in J’s Gate Dining. Tsujiri is well known for its’ Uji Tea. The menu are shown as below.
We got an eye on the shaved ice selection again! Therefore, we’ve ordered their signature shaved ice, Tsujiri Shaved ice with O-Matcha soft serve on top.

The soft serve is very smooth and it match perfectly with mildly sweet red bean.
It also have a chestnut and Japanese sweets and dumplings called dango (in Japanese, 団子) which is made from rice flour. It gives a chewy taste and slightly sweet that improve the dessert with its unique texture.
After lunch, we decided to head back to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur again to continue our food hunting journey. Walking back to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur will help us to use up more energy so that we can replendish our energy again with more delicious food!
Before we end our food journey at Bukit Bintang area, we went to our last stop for a light tea time at Miru Dessert Café.
5th Stop: Miru Dessert Café
Miru Dessert Café simply catch our eyes with their cute mascot, a little friendly honey gnome, Miru.
They prepare seating area for the customers waiting to have a seat with Miru! So cute!!!
